SHIPPING

Orders are shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground. Protect2Ride will select the appropriate carrier based on the product, destination, and delivery requirements.

Due to federal shipping regulations, orders containing CO₂ cartridges must be shipped by an approved ground service and cannot be expedited by air.

In-stock items normally ship within five business days. Backordered, specially ordered, or distributor-supplied products may require additional time.

If an order cannot be shipped within the time originally stated, Protect2Ride will contact the customer. The customer may agree to the delay or cancel the unshipped item for a refund.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

Please check your shipping address carefully before completing your order. Protect2Ride is not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Returns and exchanges may be requested within 30 days of receiving the merchandise.

Because we sell personal safety equipment, returned products must be unused and in completely new, clean, and resalable condition.

A brief indoor try-on for sizing is permitted. However, the product must not have been:

• Worn while riding

• Activated or deployed

• Damaged, scratched, dropped, or altered

• Washed or cleaned

• Exposed to dirt, animal hair, makeup, smoke, perfume, excessive odors, or other signs of use

• Separated from its original tags, papers, manuals, packaging, accessories, or included components

The item must have absolutely no signs of wear or use. All original tags and papers must remain attached or be included with the return.

Air vests must not have been activated or deployed. Helmets and body protectors must not have been used while riding.

Protect2Ride reserves the right to refuse a return when an item cannot confidently be resold as new. The condition and history of personal safety equipment are important to the next rider.

Please contact Protect2Ride before returning or exchanging an item so we can provide instructions and assist with your specific product or sizing needs.

RETURN SHIPPING

Unless the product was incorrect, damaged, or defective when received, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. The customer is responsible for the returned package until it is received by Protect2Ride or the designated supplier.

Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, and regulated-item handling charges are not refundable.

REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Please allow up to 10 business days after inspection for the refund to be processed. Additional processing time may be required by the customer’s bank or payment provider.

INCORRECT, DAMAGED, OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.

If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or potentially defective item, contact Protect2Ride before using or returning it.

Email protect2ridellc@gmail.com with:

• Your name

• Your order number

• A description of the issue

• Photographs of the product and packaging, when appropriate

We will provide further instructions and determine whether the item should be returned, exchanged, serviced, or submitted as a manufacturer warranty claim.

HIT-AIR WARRANTY

Hit-Air products include a one-year manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by an accident or fall

• Improper care or storage

• Normal wear and tear

• Improper use

• Alterations or unauthorized repairs

• Use of incorrect or incompatible CO₂ cartridges, replacement parts, or accessories

• Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions

Please contact Protect2Ride before returning a potentially defective product. We will help determine whether the issue should be handled as a return, exchange, service request, or manufacturer warranty claim.

Products made by manufacturers other than Hit-Air are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s written warranty.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Equestrian activities are inherently dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury or death.

A correctly fitted air vest, helmet, body protector, or other item of protective equipment may offer protection against certain injuries. However, no safety product can prevent every injury or guarantee a particular outcome.

The purchaser—and, for a minor rider, their parent or responsible adult—is responsible for:

• Selecting an appropriate product

• Providing accurate measurements

• Ensuring the product fits correctly

• Reading and following the manufacturer’s instructions

• Inspecting the equipment before use

• Using the correct CO₂ cartridge, parts, and accessories

• Maintaining, servicing, and replacing equipment as directed

• Following applicable barn, trainer, competition, and governing-body rules

Protect2Ride provides fitting assistance and product guidance, but the purchaser remains responsible for the final product selection and its proper use.
